Call for Abstracts

The organizing committee welcomes the submission of original contributions with the goal of advancing our understanding of land use and land cover (LULC) changes. Model-driven analysis and visualization of LULC changes provide basic information for good and meaningful decisions. The demands on the quality and availability of spatial data and information services are constantly increasing, and innovative geoinformation technologies and the processing of large amounts of data (Big Data) lead to new challenges. Contributions may be theoretical, methodological, or applied in nature. Research may address - but is not limited to - the following topics:

  • Land Use and Land Cover Change Observations
  • Metropolization: Challenges and Risks
  • Drivers, Mechanisms, Tools
  • Varia: This topic contains free contributions whose topical focus is indirectly related

Abstracts of no more than 500 words should be submitted using the submission form below.

Accepted abstracts will be presented as oral presentations and be published in the digital conference proceedings. Selected post-conference full papers will be eligible for submission to selected special issues (to be announced soon).

We also want to emphasize the possibility of poster presentations. Please notify in the abstract, if you prefer this option.

Any questions regarding the submission and publication process should be addressed to ilus2019universitedeparis[...]
If you would like to name more than 4 authors, please also contact us by email.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is March 29, 2019.
